Job Description

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager in Miami, Florida


  • Manages a broad range of activities associated with pre-design, design, pre-construction, construction (including all phasing), closeout, occupancy and warranty enforcement for multiple complex and multi-faceted new construction, renovations and modernization projects.
  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and reports the project management activities of multiple project teams with regard to educational facilities.
  • Coordinates/manages all aspects of project activities with region center administrators, school principals and central administration personnel. Serves as project contact and liaison on all matters related to project design and construction.
  • Responsible for management of multiple projects in varying phases of design/construction.

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, urban planning, construction management or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project/construction management of commercial and/or public facilities and familiarity with Florida School Code requirements
  • 3 years of experience in educational facility construction preferred
  • Strong management and communications skills required; negotiating skills preferred
