SandyPines Residential Treatment Center is a 149-bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is in beautiful South Florida, nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson State Park and just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. We are the largest treatment center of its kind in the southeast and host Riverbend Academy, an accredited school on our campus.

Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - Night Shift

This full-time opportunity in Admissions offers 36-40 hours per week, full benefits, and a various shift schedule. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

We are looking for a Charge Nurse to join our team and provide excellent care for our patients while supervising nursing staff in the ward of our healthcare facility. Charge Nurse Responsibilities include providing guidance and support to staff, maintaining a clean working environment and directing nursing staff. Ultimately, you will work with a team of nurses to ensure patients receive the care and attention they need throughout your shift.


Qualifications

  • Must have a degree in nursing
  • Proven work experience as a Charge Nurse or similar role
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate with sound judgment and problem-solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical software systems
  • Ability to handle stress and long shifts
  • Assessing, monitoring, and caring for patients
  • Communicating with upper management regarding Nurse performance, staff issues and changes to treatment protocols
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as creating staff schedules and ordering supplies
  • Remaining calm under pressure and be able to quickly and effectively delegate staff responsibilities during busy shifts or emergency situations
