We are currently seeking a CEI Senior Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Construction Inspection Team at our office in Miami, FL.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA provides a full complement of construction administration and inspection services to monitor, record and deliver successful projects. Our inspection team includes seasoned certified construction professionals cross-trained in design, risk management, and health and safety compliance to underscore our commitment to stringent standards. Our team understands that small details can have a big impact.

The CEI Senior Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction inspection activities. They coordinate large construction projects, maintain project documentation and records, as well as oversee construction inspection field staff. The professional in this role will work with the project designer as necessary, chair all project related meetings, and review contractor pay quantities for accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
  • PE preferred
  • Minimum 6 years' construction inspection experience required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • FDOT experience a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel preferred
  • Able to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret client's contracts
  • Excellent knowledge of and reinforces the company's and client's standards
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge about the construction industry
  • Must be able to navigate through a construction site
