Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Miami, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Test, repair, or overhaul electronic or radio equipment.
  • Needs to be familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Understand, write, and read English and know basic math.
  • Test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate units using schematics diagrams, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and other documents such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and customer Engineering Orders.
  • Perform modifications following official instructions.
  • Usually reports to the lead person, supervisor, or manager.

  • Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Length: Contract to Direct

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-year experience with digital and analog electronics testing using equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and function generators, and willing to learn one or more automatic test equipment platforms.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Be able to follow written technical instructions.
  • Be able to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate units using official documents.
  • Be able to solder electronic components.
  • Be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Be able to stop and ask questions rather than guessing about maintenance actions.
  • Have a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Always be ready to learn new skills and concepts and adapt to changing workflow demands.
  • Be a team player willing to cross-train in other areas, such as shipping, receiving, and metrology, and support those areas when needed.
  • Have a willingness to understand customer contracts and build quotes.
