Job Overview:
- The Onboard ITC Test Technician will support the Engineer in carrying out the vehicle retrofit and signaling testing in accordance with processes and approved procedures.
- He/she may be responsible for executing the test activities over Onboard/railway systems and ensure that Test & Commissioning process is executed in a proper manner and in compliance with standards, regulations, and local laws.
- Support the engineers on troubleshooting of the systems and equipment to identify root cause
- Interface to the ITC stakeholders to ensure all installation supervision and T&C works over the onboard systems are being executed in a proper manner in coordination with the test Lead.
- This Technician will primarily work in the onboard/vehicle systems such as Vehicle ATC, but may also work with the trackside subsystem when needed.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Education
-Technician degree in electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fields.
Relevant experience required
- Minimum 4 years of previous relevant experience as a test engineer, transit signaling, and wayside systems would be a plus.
- Experience in subsystem such as VATC (principal).
