We are currently seeking an Autodesk System Administrator to join our Corporate - Ops & Innovation/IT Team. Our Autodesk System Administrator can work fully remote, or in a hybrid capacity from any of the following locations: Colonie, NY; Boston, MA; Indianapolis, IN; Atlanta, GA; Duluth, GA; or Miami, FL.

CHA's corporate groups support our technical sectors and market teams with financial, legal, business development and marketing, human resources, information technology and operational services to meet our clients' evolving needs.

The Design Technologies team at CHA supports over 500 CAD Designers, Engineers, Project Managers and Scientists working on a variety of AECO projects. Autodesk System Administrators are the primary technical resource for CHA's CAD users and are responsible for actively delivering and managing the software essential to delivering quality projects. Working in conjunction with BIM Managers and developers as the lead Autodesk technical advisor, the Autodesk System Administrator will provide reliable solutions for technical implementation to ensure complete end-user satisfaction.

More specifically, the Autodesk System Administrator:

    Manages CHA custom Autodesk system application configurations
  • Prepares and develops deployment packages for Autodesk software
  • Maintains direct connection with CHA's Autodesk power users regarding software performance, stability, and optimization
  • Manages Autodesk enterprise license distribution and allocation tracking
  • Oversees the development of custom tools and programs for Autodesk application integration
  • Manages CAD environment integration with CHA subsidiaries, mergers, and acquisitions
  • Collaborates with CHA Information Technology staff on network and hardware requirements for the efficient and effective performance on Autodesk applications
  • Provides Tier III technical support for CHA Autodesk users
  • Performs QA/QC testing and feedback for Autodesk software product releases prior to packaging and deployment

REQUIREMENTS
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field; an equivalent combination of education and professional experience will also be considered
  • A minimum of 5 years in a CAD Manager, or a similar role with 5 years practicing AEC design
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the creation and deployment of Autodesk applications
  • A strong understanding of CAD standards and settings for large, multi-disciplinary AEC Consulting firm
  • Autodesk EBA Administration, a plus
  • Knowledge of basic programming and database management
  • Analytical and technical writing skills, including Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
