Human Capital Management (HCM), Senior Manager

Job Location: Position is remote with support for Centric's Business Units currently located in Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Louisville, Miami, Seattle and St. Louis.

What we value the most: individuals who are people-centric and dedicated to delivering high-quality workforce related transformations to our clients.We're looking for an HCM Senior Manager to join our growing team with expertise across the areas of Enterprise HCM Transformations and Workforce Optimization.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Anticipate, plan and lead multiple HCM and/or Workforce Management (WFM) engagements concurrently across our portfolio which vary by industry, size/scale and platforms.
  • Lead HCM/WFM programs and projects ensuring alignment to scope, plans, budgets, deliverables and quality.
  • Apply expert HCM/WFM knowledge and experience ensuring executive alignment, stakeholder engagement and workstream leader success resulting in vision attainment.
  • Lead enterprise policy and practice harmonization engagements.
  • Drive vision and roadmap development for HCM/WFM capabilities across a variety of industries and business problems.
  • Leverage strong communications skills to collaborate and work with diverse Centric and Client teams to achieve project and change adoption objectives .
  • Apply a proactive, flexible, and practical approachto manage the people, process, and technology changes occurring within the Client while achieving a project's desired outcomes.
  • Deliver both strategic (can set the vision with executives) and tactical (willingness to roll-up your sleeves to execute the work) solutions to Clients in various environments and disciplines.
  • Grow the practice by leading sales and marketing activities (RFPs, Proposals, SOWs, etc.). Leverage existing relationships, grow brand awareness and drive sales pursuits. Develop relationships and trust with Centric's business units to help them leverage HCM's capabilities to solve clients' business problems.
  • Nurture and mentor our HCM team and attract amazing talent to Centric.
  • Contribute materially to the development and maturation of HCM's strategy and help grow our capabilities.
  • Own and monitor the financial health (e.g., profitability, utilization, margin, etc.) of portions of the portfolio.
  • Stay current and relevant on domestic and global HCM/WFM trends.

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Proven track record of a minimum of 10 years' experience leading/executing HCM/WFM transformations. This includes the ability to plan, design, execute and manage stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, impact analysis, learning/training, communications, organizational readiness, deployment, and adoption measurement to drive faster adoption.
  • Experience building and executing HCM/WFM strategies and plans in the context of medium-sized up to large-scale organizational change efforts.

  • Experience and knowledge of leading HCM/WFM principles, methodologies, and tools(e.g. Workday, UKG, Oracle), with the ability to assess, build, and execute tailored HCM/WFM strategies and plans.

  • And because we work with clients, excellent communication skills are important - both written and verbal. Active listening skills, ability to extract and quickly process key information, summarize key needs or interests of Clients, and provide targeted and appropriate insights and recommendations, and translating technical concepts into layman's terms are essential.

  • Being a Self-Starter is important. We don't handhold - you should be comfortable working independently in an entrepreneurial environment. That said, collaboration is equally important. Our National team and other technologists or consultants at Centric will give you an amazing support system. You will lean on them daily.

  • Consulting experience is strongly preferred. This can include internal and external consulting experience.

  • Travel will vary but expect up to 75% travel at times.
