Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for a Manufacturing Electrical Assembler to work on site in Clinton, TN as part of our Remotec EOD robotics organization

The ideal candidate is excited to be part of the Engineering team to design EOD robotic systems and is a committed team player in successfully meeting schedule delivery goals and quality. Experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies. The candidate is organized and completes design work in a timely manner with high quality outputs. Experienced in designing assemblies for Andros EOD robots utilizing ISO Quality standards and procedures in place to ensure quality and completeness. Being willing and able to learn new things and take on additional roles/responsibilities is essential.

Responsible for following design guidelines and adhereing to design goals and milestones. Must work with an integrated team of Engineers with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineers.

This work includes but is not limited to:

    Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD design software
  • Autodesk Vault
  • Design for 3D printing, CNC, Waterjet, and Welding
  • Develop drawing documention for Assembly and Fabrication
  • Detailed GDT
  • Familar with CNC and 3D printer operation
  • Experience with motorized mechanisms and controls
  • Experience with Andros Robot designs
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 2 year AS, minimum or 4 years with HS diploma.
  • 1-2 Years relevant experience designing assemblies for Remotec Andros Unmanned Ground Systems.
  • Basic computer skills, ability to effectively use Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience with machine assembly, electrical assembly, understanding of assembly drawings, and electrical wiring diagrams for Spartan and FX Andros robots.
  • Works well with basic machinery such as hand tools, wire crimpers and strippers, test and measuring equipment.
  • Global Shop experience.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
