Electronics/Electrical Technicians - Ride Maintenance


These full-time positions are responsible for all technical aspects of ride maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This entails logical and extensive analysis, referring to technical manuals, our technical library, and electronic data resources. Likewise, routine testing, verification, and calibration of electrical control systems will be performed. Technicians also use a systematic approach to scheduled inspections of ride vehicles and systems.

Qualified candidates:
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED (degree in electrical/electronics technology from a technical school preferred)
  • Possess 3 to 5 years experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical systems
  • Possess a valid Florida Driver License
  • Be able to work a 3rd shift schedule, both indoors and outdoors, and stand for long periods of time

    Required skills include:
  • Troubleshooting of electrical control systems and an understanding of sensor technology
  • Knowledge of testing equipment and the ability to operate digital/analog circuitry, volt/amp meter, and chart recorder up to 480v
  • Familiar with use of variable frequency drives (both AC and DC)
  • Experience with PLC controllers and other logic-based devices
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blue prints and technical documentation
