Position Description

Account Specialist - Miramar, FL-330837
Description
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with inside sales team
  • Conduct ride alongs with IS team
  • Work with Medical AEs to initiate appropriate quotes
  • Work with PRIME install
  • Work with SBS if present in market
  • Work with re quotes
  • Support the urgent needs of the medical/specialty field reps
  • Responsible for selling new business into existing accounts
  • Train and consult with brokers and employers on enrollment
  • Coaches and supports Account Consultants in managing: timeliness and quality of support provided to AEs
  • Promotes and supports the SB service model
  • Participates in special projects as requested by management
  • Gathers data and identifies trends in order to recommend process improvement strategies
  • Successful results in this position can lead to advancement opportunities.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of professional B2B sales experience is required
  • 1 year of healthcare or insurance industry experience is required
  • Life and health insurance license or the ability to acquire a license in the first 180 days of employment is required
  • Insurance agency experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel) experience is preferred
  • BA/BS degree is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • High school diploma/GED is required
